JEE COUNSELLING COMPLETE PROCEDURE

I know counselling process is bit difficult so therefore i have created a blog in which I will tell you about the real scenario, what actually happens during counselling.
First of all most important after the day your exam finishes, please keep a check of time when JOSSA counselling takes place.
You are a given a plenty of time to fill your choices. There is a specific mechanism of how your seat is allocated. most student makes mistake over here and then they realize that i could get that college or that branch. I have made complete blog on how to choose your seat, various option such as freeeze, float or slide. I have explained them thoroughly.
Know what happens after you have filled choices.
First of all before counselling ends, a two or three days back you are shown mock seat allocation. This allocation happens in two rounds. this is basically mock. Here there is no confirmation that you will definitly get seat. It is basically a rough idea. In this the system assumes what if you freezes seat before mock round, then what you will get. Although you can change your seat preference during mock round. Finally after second round of mock your last arranged seat preference order automatically freezes, now you cannot change your order of seats.
Then comes ROUND 1. After some time ROUND 2 comes. And similarly subsequent rounds comes till ROUND 7. Now the most important thing if you are alloted a seat in ROUND1 then first pay your jossa counselling fees of 35000 for general and obc; 15000 Rs for SC/ST. However this fees gets added in your college fees once you finallise your college. if you withdraw in subsequent round then your fees is refunded. Now you have pay your fees then YOU HAVE TO REPORT AT NEARBY NIT FOR JEE MAIN AND IIT FOR JEE ADVANCE. IT IS MANDATORY WHOSOEVER HAVE ALLOTED SEAT IN ROUND 1 HAVE TO REPORT NIT OR IIT FOR FREEZE, FLOAT OR SLIDE.After that you no need to have report anywhere until unless you wish to change FREEZE FLOAT SLIDE OPTION. Some of the documents you need to carry there.
Suppose you are not alloted seat in ROUND 1 then you no need to pay fees and no need to report anywhere. Whichever round you are alloted seat you have to pay fees and then report to NIT OR IIT.
It happens till ROUND 7. After round 7 then comes special round CSAB ROUND. this round is basically for vacant seats of NIT. CSAB is not for IIT. In this you have to again do counselling. Complete scenario of this is mentioned in my blog.
